Delete Your Account

You can delete your Luma account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no recovery period, and the data cannot be restored once removed.
Delete from within the app (fastest)
- Open the Luma app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Data & Privacy.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Your account and all associated data are erased right away, and you are signed out automatically.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us at support@heyluma.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Delete my account.” We will verify your request and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account and login credentials (email and authentication records).
- Your profile details (name, preferred language, country, and preferences).
- Your conversations, message transcripts, and session history.
- Reflections, memories, weekly recaps, and mood logs.
- Your subscription record held in our systems.
- Any support messages you have sent us.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records where we are legally required to, or to meet security, fraud-prevention, or financial obligations (for example, transaction records held by the app stores). Your subscription itself is managed by Apple or Google; deleting your Luma account does not cancel an active subscription. To cancel or request a refund, manage your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
